The factory was founded in the year 1958 and started producing hydrodynamic couplings since 1985. At the year 1994, upon the basis of cooperation with German partner Voith Turbo GmbH Co. KG, well known as International Hydrodynamic field, a joint venture Voith Zhongxin Power Transmission Co., Ltd (Guangdong Hero Power Hydraulic Transmission Co., LTD) was built.
Our company is famous for constant filling fluid couplings, variable speed fluid couplings, coupling transmission device, torque converter and protective device for belt conveyor, which can be applied onto fans, pumps, belt conveyor, crusher, coal grinding machine, leather machine etc in metallurgy, steel plant, electricity power plant, coal mining, marine, port, construction, chemical, light industries. They have advantages of improving mechanic start-up performance, overload protection, segregating shock and vibration, adjusting speed and balancing workload, etc. Since the very beginning of 1990s, our products has been exported to Hong Kong, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Korea, Australia, South Africa and Europe.

1. Composition:
Fluid coupling is composed of pump wheel, side auxiliary cavity, turbine, main shaft, threaded ring and sealing end cover.
2. Working principle:
Fluid coupling is a kind of hydraulic transmission device that uses the kinetic energy of liquid for energy transmission. It takes liquid oil as the working medium and converts the mechanical energy and liquid kinetic energy into each other through pump wheel and turbine, so as to connect the prime mover(Driver) and working machinery to realize power transmission.
3. Features:
Hydraulic coupling is a kind of flexible transmission device. Compared with ordinary mechanical transmission device, it has many unique features: it can eliminate impact and vibration; The output speed is lower than the input speed, and the speed difference between the two shafts increases with the increase of load; The overload protection performance and starting performance are good. When the load is too large and stops, the input shaft can still rotate without causing damage to the power machine; When the load decreases, the output shaft speed increases until it is close to the input shaft speed, so that the transmission torque tends to zero. Generally, high efficiency can be obtained when the speed ratio of hydraulic coupling under normal working conditions is more than 0.95. The characteristics of hydraulic coupling are different due to the different shapes of working chamber, pump wheel and turbine. It generally dissipates heat naturally by the shell and does not need an external cooling oil supply system. If the oil of the hydraulic coupling is vented, the coupling will be in the disengaged state and can play the role of clutch.
